Let's put a closure for 2011.

Looking back at my blog post in 2011,I have been fairly silent about what was going on my life. Though i find it really funny how pissed i was over a certain guy! Hahahaha, nah we are very cool right now. One can really be blinded by emotion.

Mid year, i felt a spark. It's still here, but we are getting nowhere.

Still remembered i thought of my 2011 resolution while i was jogging along the road one fine day. Nah, i have not achieved few targets. BUT! 2011 been great! I lose few kilos, ppl are complimenting bout my weight loss. Owned my first ride and also liability. Gotten my first ink. Nosce Te Ipsum, a constant reminder to myself!

For 2012, I want to:
1. Be a more confident and beautiful femininely smart independent woman.
2. Love and enjoy my job even more, build technical knowledge and strive for what i deserve.
3. Be more sincere and connect to people.
4. Do more traveling.. I have India and Thailand trip firmed, let's hope that I can make it to Netherlands, France, UK and Taiwan.
5. Keep my current ride in tip top condition.
6. Showcase my photography works to ppl who appreciate.
7. Love and be loved.

Wow, dint really i wanna accomplish so much in the next year. Anyway, life is short... so stay hungry, stay foolish and have lotsa fun living! 2012 is gonna be great and way better!

Running, running, and running..

That literally describe my dreams for the past nights. Read somewhere before that running in dream can be interpreted as in denial/avoiding certain problems or fears. Well, i need to wake up and not be brought down by some issues! Aza aza fighting!

It's sad that my little chubby boy, Lucky is no longer with us. I miss seeing him gorging down his food. Good thing is, we will always remember his cute intelligent look and big round tummy. May Lucky have abundance of good food in heaven. *hugs*

Anyway, Sunday was great! Good company (i.e the family), good fun and oh yeah good food! Some photos to share. =D

We had bbq at home, oh glorious charred bits of porky blek and sweet roasted capsicum yummm..

Well, obviously bbq-ing. We have choices of porky, porky and chicken satay, hotdog, lambs & chicken wings (not shown), drumstick mushroom, capsicum la la la etc. =D

This is the most important step to ensure the bbq-ed 3 layer pork is given justice, to up level its tastiness hahaha. Crisp the skin yo!

Fast forward, some of the leftover foods finally being served on table for dinner. <3

Oh well, there goes the weight loss plan hahaha! xD

So not feeling the need for sleep at the moment, but i gotta sleep! It's gonna be working day tomorrow! *sobs

Been having a 3-movie marathon tonight, right until now! First movie; "Ju-on, White Ghost and Black Ghost" sooooo NOT scary and interesting! Zzzz, perhaps i have set the bar too high for this famous Ju-on thingy. Err ok... i will only think it's scary once im alone (well, im now) esp when driving late at night yikesss!! *brush that imaginary scene away*. Another movie, the CNY themed "Woohooo"; well quite funny. Not bad for a Malaysian made movie. =P

And i just finished "Julie & Julia"!! That's my fave movie of the nite ta daaaa~ Obviously, it's my type of movie, combining Love-Romance-Comedy. Love it! Simply love it, sure gonna watch it again ahahaha. And i love the quote when Julia told her husband "I love you so much to have let you have the first bite (of her food)"!!! So sweet right? Im so gonna say this to my boy lololol!! Oh oh, another funny yet slightly 18sx quote from Julia Child was "These things are as hot as a stiff cock." which she cried out on her TV show as she pulls some cannelloni out of a pot of boiling water. Muahahahaha!

Anyway the movie (which is also the true story of Julie Powell, a blogger) provokes me blog tonight. Somehow i always let laziness and tendency that no one is interested in my life to be the excuse for not updating errr 80% of the time is pure laziness thou. There are times i wanted to delete this whole damn thing but again when i read back the old entries, it's quite amusing and somehow felt like part of my life is frozen in time (yeah im not the type who write diary and no im not especially sentimental tonight). Well and guess what, who should care if there is anyone reading or not or the english is getting broken la la la..

Well, im just me. Boring, so love it or hate it. Ah by the way, CNY is fun. Loads of food and sleep! I will be making lao sang tomorrow, albeit a day late cause i slept too much today and there were another potluck session in the evening. =P

It's always fun taking light trail and night scape. Surprisingly, it's my very first take on my hometown's light trail + nightscape. It's not as spectacular as some big cities' nightscape; but i still love it for it's my humble hometown. =)

This area is considered as Miri's old town center and is quite silence during night time. However, Chinese New Year is just a few days away and it's been an annual event to hold the CNY bazaar here! There are lots stalls selling CNY trinkets, cookies, hawker foods, etc etc.. It's quite a vibrant scene with all the human shuffling around.

This is the second year for me as a 'cookies seller' during this event. It's quite fun yet tiring. I do notice a lot of ppl prowling around with DSLR, which kinda tempts me to leave my work and join them doing photoshooting *itch itch*. Hehe! Well, sure gonna take some more pics and hopefully share it here with my blog readers!

Gosh it's already 16th Jan 2010 and only now do i feel obliged to write the very first post in mysunshinekisses.blogspot for 2010. In 2009, i learnt to be thickskin. Therefore, i crowned myself the world laziest blogger! xD

I was still groggy from the new year celebration (ok that was a lame excuse). It was considerably fun sweating at the bistro with couple of friends and lots of other random strangers.

I swear i only have a shot of vodka and nothing more =X

And a few hours later, woke up dang early to shoot the first light of 2010 with some of the photokakis. Hehe, that's fun!!

No reason for this sudden out gush of personal feeling, perhaps it's just a post long delayed.

For the past one year, alot had happened. Joined the working group, been through heaven and hell for falling for a non existent person, did some travelling, gotten a new toy hence new hobby, etc etc. Undeniably, observed alot of new things; especially human behaviour and interaction.

Have i changed?
I have. Change is constant.

Therefore for all those frustration and tears shed, it's worthwhile. Im now stronger and more positive. Despite those hurts, im glad it happened.

My long time close friends, thanks for being there whenever i need you.
The lots and lots of new friends i made within this whole year, im privilege to have you all in my life.

Food naturally comes first in my mind, it's pleasure to sight, smell and taste! It's also one of my favorite photography subject as it is never shy. Recently, im quite fond of photographing food in bird's eye view.

My take on Malaysia's isu semasa

Sad to say, i was never genuinely aware of the 'isu semasa' in Malaysia. I happened to know about the Government's decision to have Mathematics and Science taught in Bahasa Malaysia effective 2012 from a sms that Eru received.

1st reaction? RIDICULOUS!!
2nd reaction? The govt EAT FULL NOTHING TO DO MEH?!

Enough said, let Dr. M do the wise political comment on several posts in his blog.

But i cant resist saying this; there's a vulgar word that describe the situation perfectly... LPPL.

Omg im so bored that i think mushrooms are sprouting all over me d. Zzzz.

Anyway, baked wholemeal bread today just for it's therapeutic effect; else i might gone crazy and ram the walls with my head. Lol dont know what the freaking things im talking bout. Zzzz.. Oh well~

My first trial. Hmmm, not very yummy but still edible. Would be better if more raisins are added in xD
