First MIJF for me

So, it was the long awaited Miri International Jazz Festival.


Won 1st nite ticket but missed it cause convocation =.=


Hence went to the 2nd nite with rene and


ah ko, who bump into his friend, ah siong ko.


While i bumped into jonah, barely recognised him with his new shuai haircut and my cei mei eyes. I sure look vy ngiao here =.=

The first group to perform is Borneo Jazz from Malaysia. One of my favorite would from that night would be "For you", an original composition of the group. Aikss, the picture's taken with my digital camera too teruk for sharing liao. T___T

During the break, we went to get our first beer of the night; and watched the brass band-like performance of T'inventielke from Holland.


Only managed to get snapshots from behind. This group of performers are amicable and their music, simple yet enjoyable!

Thereafter, we are back to Pavilion and listening to this beautiful hot Filipino lady, glamorously dressed in a simple batik halter dress. Her music are slow with strong vocals!

Finished 1st beer, not drunk nor blur, just flushed

and lost the ability of accurate distance perception.


Amar Sundy from Algeria gets the crowd high! But rene suggested it's the drinks working their wonder. Heh.

As the emcee announced, saving the best for last, it's Rumba Caldaza from Canada.


Hmm, now my verdict for the night! It was a great first time experience but jazz may not be a music that im loving at this moment, and im still massaging my aching feet. T______T
